To store your wet specimen, keep it in a dark area away from direct sunlight. While the liquid will evaporate over time, this will help slow down the process.
Our specimens are preserved in 70% isopropyl alcohol. If the liquid level gets low and appears clear, you can simply top it off with more 70% isopropyl. This can be found in the first aid section of most stores or purchased online, and it is not toxic.
